Franchise

A franchise is a system of business expansion and distribution of products and services, and the possibility of running a business under a recognizable name. The franchisor provides the franchisee with support and, in some cases, has some control over how the franchisee operates. In return, the franchisee pays the franchisor an initial fee (called a franchise fee) and a business fee (royalty) for the use of the trade name and business method.
